So I know that a lot of people have been commenting on iOS since the beta information for iOS 5 was released last week. I have plenty to say on the matter but I would like to talk about one feature that has already been pushed to iOS 4.3.3 users.
Content Sharing for Store Accounts.
I cannot tell you how easy this has made my family's life. Where I can not speak to how Barb feels about this update, I know that this makes things so much easier. Whereas if I bought a new app before I would test it and then tell Barb, maybe weeks later, that "Hey this app is awesome and if you download it with our family account it will be free." Now with the sharing enabled per device she gets it when I get it, and she can be part of that trial period too.
Also, Barb purchased some content from the iTunes Music Store last night, and I remembered that I might want to listen to it today, so I was thinking about what I would need to do to get that content to my machine at home to sync to my iPod Touch, and then I remembered that feature, looked, and lo an behold the content is already there.
Thank you developers for creating a wonderful feature, and I can't wait to update to iOS 5 to see what else you have done.
